We both knew that we wanted flowers for our day that complimented the surroundings in which we live so a visit to Essentially Hops one day during that summer provided us with exactly what we were looking for.  We had a lovely, relaxed consultation and booked for our original planned date.

In the end we had a very quick turnaround arranging our Wedding in only 4 weeks due to a poorly friend that we desperately wanted to be there to see us marry. With time not really on our side we rushed to the shop, where we were allowed us to take a display bouquet, which I believe had only been made a couple of days prior to our visit, it was just PERFECT

Emma’s flowers were absolutely gorgeous! We wanted to have dried flowers for the whole day, so we gave a selection of vases to fill with dried flowers for the tables. We also had an archway under which we had the actual ceremony, and Emma made a gorgeous hop garland for the ceremony arch. We also had lovely dried gypsophila bouquets made and hair grips for the bridesmaids to match, buttonholes for the groom and party. Emma was so great at responding, helping us with ideas and setting up the day before the wedding.

One of my absolute favourite parts of the whole wedding experience was our flowers. From visiting the shop and picking out our flowers to seeing them on our wedding day and even giving them as gifts afterwards! They just filled me with so much joy and were absolutely stunning. Emma was super helpful throughout. She was easily able to translate my ideas into reality, extremely creative and was so easy to work with (and very responsive!).
